Hotel Description

Set in large gardens with a waterfall, the modern Hotel Playa La Arena has a magnificent marble entrance hall with high ceilings and large pillars. The hotel is located on the picturesque coast of Santiago del Teide, just 75 meters from the volcanic beach. Guestrooms have patterned bedspreads and curtains, with modern dark wood furniture and glass doors leading on to balconies, some with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. En-suite bathrooms have complimentary toiletries; all rooms have air conditioning, cable television, direct-dial phones and minibars.
Sun-worshippers can top up their tans in the solarium or out on the terraces, both of which have spectacular views of the sea and island of La Gomera. Guests can cool off with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, try their hand at miniature golf or practice their serve on the tennis court. The hotel caters for children with its kids' club, entertainment program and children's pool with waterslide. Business guests can make use of the conference rooms and Internet connection. In the evening, cocktails are served in the piano bar and dancing, live music and shows are on offer in the music hall. Guests can tuck into the international buffet and local dishes in restaurant's modern setting, with themed dining once a week and show cooking. Teide, the third largest volcano in the world, is 40 kilometers away. Reina Sofia Tenerife South Airport is 47 kilometers from the hotel. From the airport taxis are available to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and cost around €50. Buses also leave regularly from the airport to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Marítima, North Tenerife Airport (for inter-island flights), Los Cristianos and other destinations on the island. Taxis on the island are relatively cheap, and the bus network serves most of the main site of interest.

Continue along the coast, then after passing the village of Alcala, turn left towards Playa de la Arena - Puerto Santiago. The hotel is located opposite the beach.
